Amazon envió el año pasado unos 5.000 millones de paquetes de todo el mundo, de los cuales se perdieron o robaron decenas de miles con un valor total de 47.000 millones de dólares.

Un pequeño paquete, con la pegatina obligatoria de «batería de Lion Litio incluida» puede ser muy jugosa para un repartidor, que sabe que ahí hay un aparato electrónico presumiblemente de gran valor.  Por esta razón, Amazon, estaría intentando saber como de honrados son sus empleados a la hora de repartir los paquetes.

Para ello han decidido enviar paquetes ‘falsos’ que están vacíos o tienen en su interior cualquier objeto solo para dar la impresión de que tienen peso. Además, colocan una etiqueta con un código errado que cuando un repartidor la escanea le debe indicar que hay un problema por lo que tendrá que regresar la caja. De una sutil manera se le hace entender al repartidor que ha habido un error y ese paquete no aparece en el sistema.

 Está destinado a ser una trampa … para verificar la integridad del repartidor, En caso de que el repartidor no reporte el error con sus supervisores para abordar el problema o devuelva el paquete, puede llegar a perder su empleo.
